Show a payment calculator on listings
Toggle the estimated monthly-payment calculator on your storefront vehicle pages.
Your storefront can show buyers an estimated monthly payment right on each vehicle page. It is a one-click on/off switch — no setup, no numbers to enter.
The payment calculator is on by default. You only need to come here if you want to turn it off (or back on).
Turn the calculator on or off
- Go to Website in the dashboard (the Website settings page).
- Scroll to the Content & trust section and find the Payment calculator card.
- Flip the Show payment calculator switch.
- That's it — the switch saves on its own. You'll see a confirmation toast ("Payment calculator turned on" or "Payment calculator turned off") and your live site refreshes.
This switch is separate from the visual builder. It saves the moment you flip it — there is no draft to Publish.
What buyers see
When the calculator is on, each vehicle page shows an Estimated payment line inside the pricing card (the "buy box"), with a dollar amount per month. Below it, buyers can click Adjust payment to change three inputs:
- Down payment — defaults to 10% of the price.
- APR % — defaults to 7.9%.
- Term — 36, 48, 60, 72, or 84 months (defaults to 72).
The estimate recalculates instantly using the same payment math the deal desk uses. Every estimate also carries a disclaimer: "Estimate only — not a financing offer. Excludes taxes, title, and fees. Actual terms depend on credit approval (O.A.C.)."
The estimate is never shown on a vehicle without a price (a "Contact for price" car). The calculator simply doesn't appear on those listings, even when the switch is on.
FAQ
Do I need to enter rates or set up financing for this?
No. The calculator uses generic defaults (10% down, 7.9% APR, 72 months) that the buyer can adjust. There is nothing to configure — it's a single on/off switch.
Is this a real financing offer?
No. It is an illustrative estimate only, and the page says so. It excludes taxes, title, and fees, and real terms depend on credit approval. It does not commit you to any rate.
Why isn't the calculator showing on one of my cars?
The most common reason is that the vehicle has no price (it shows "Contact for price"). The calculator only appears on vehicles that have a price set. Add a price to that vehicle and the estimate will appear.
Who can change this setting?
Only an Owner or Manager. Salespeople can't toggle it.
I turned it off but it still shows on my site.
Saving refreshes your live storefront, but a page you already have open may be cached in your browser. Reload the vehicle page (or open it in a private window) to see the change.
