Find your way around

A tour of the dashboard, the grouped left sidebar, the top bar search and account menu, and the AI assistant button.

Once you're signed in, everything lives in three places: the dashboard in the middle, the sidebar on the left, and the top bar across the top. This page shows you where to find each thing.

The dashboard

The dashboard (/dashboard) is your home screen. It greets you by name and shows a live snapshot of the dealership for the current month:

  • Stat cards — Revenue this month, Deals closed, New leads, and Available inventory. Each card is clickable and jumps to the matching page (Revenue opens Reports; the others open Deals, Leads, and Inventory).
  • Needs attention — uncontacted leads, stale leads (no activity in 7+ days), deals pending close, and vehicles aging 90+ days. Only items that actually need action show up; if nothing does, you'll see "You're all caught up."
  • Open deals and Today's tasks — deals still working their way to close, plus tasks due today or overdue.
  • Recent leads, Top performers (this month), and Inventory aging.
  • Quick actions at the bottom — one-click buttons to Add vehicle, New deal, New lead, New customer, Tasks, and Reports.

Two buttons sit in the top-right of the dashboard header: View public site (opens your storefront in a new tab) and New deal.

The left sidebar

The sidebar is your main menu. It's organized into labeled groups so related pages sit together:

  • Overview — Dashboard, Reports
  • Inventory — Inventory, Imports, Floor plan
  • Sales — Leads, Customers, Deals, Accounts
  • Operations — Appointments, Vendors, Lienholders, Title work, Tasks
  • Compliance — Compliance, Audit log
  • Website — Website

Each item links to that section's main page. Use the Add new button on the page itself to create something (the sidebar doesn't have separate "Add" links).

Collapse the rail to icons-only with the toggle at the very left of the top bar — handy on smaller screens. On mobile, the sidebar slides in as a panel.

The top bar

The bar across the top has two halves.

On the left:

  1. The sidebar toggle (collapse/expand the rail).
  2. A Search… box. Click it — or press ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows) anywhere — to open the command palette and jump to any page or quick action (Add vehicle, New deal, Add customer, Add lead).

On the right:

  1. The notifications bell — your inbox of announcements, assigned leads, and assigned tasks. A badge shows the unread count.
  2. The theme toggle (sun/moon) — switches between light and dark mode.
  3. The AI button (the sparkle icon) — opens the AI assistant.
  4. Your account menu — shows your name and role with a dropdown arrow.

The account menu

Click your name in the top-right to open the account dropdown. Under a Settings heading you'll find every settings page:

  • Profile, Dealer info, Locations, Deal defaults, Plates
  • Marketplaces, Integrations, Team, Lead routing
  • In-house financing, AI assistant, Security, Billing

Sign out is at the bottom of the same menu.

Everyone on the team sees the same settings menu — no items are hidden by role. Where a role matters, the restriction is on the page itself: for example, on Team, anyone can view the roster, but only owners can change roles, and only owners and admin managers can invite or deactivate teammates. The AI assistant button

Click the AI button (sparkle icon) to pop open the assistant in a floating panel at the bottom-right of the screen.

  • It stays with you as you move between pages — the same conversation, picked up wherever you left off.
  • A small badge on the AI button means the assistant has proactive messages waiting (for example, a daily digest). Opening the panel clears the badge.
  • Use the expand icon in the panel header to open the assistant full-screen at /ai (same thread, more room).

The dealer AI never changes your data on its own. When it wants to add a vehicle, log a lead, update a deal, and so on, it proposes the action and waits for you to Approve it (or reply "yes"). Nothing happens until you confirm — and money actions require a typed "yes". The separate public chat on your storefront only answers shopper questions; it never exposes your costs, customer details, or deals.

FAQ

It moved to the top-right account menu. Click your name, and all the settings pages are listed under the Settings heading.

How do I get back to the dashboard quickly?

Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar, or open the search box (⌘K / Ctrl+K) and pick Dashboard.

Do Sales users see fewer menu items than owners?

No — the sidebar and the account menu show the same items to everyone on the team. What's restricted is what you can do once you're on a page (for example, changing a teammate's role under Team is owner-only). If you can't perform an action you expect, ask your dealership owner; they can adjust your role under Team.

Can I switch to dark mode?

Yes — click the sun/moon theme toggle in the top bar. Your choice is remembered on that device.

The numbers on the dashboard look old.

The dashboard reflects the current month and refreshes when you load it. If something looks off, reload the page; stat cards and widgets pull live data each time.
